In September 2009 I started to downsize this collection to a few items and then archived this section to its own subdomain at the start of October 2011. Remaining items sold off in mid 2024.

When viewed from the rear the power socket and serial cable sockets can be seen
on the legs as well as the cut sheet/tractor feed selector switch and the slot
that the tractor fed paper enters through.

The top cover can be easily removed in order to expose the ribbon cartidge and
much of the mechanism can also be seen.

The cover over the rear section can also be removed to expose the tractor feed
mechanism. I understand that the blue connector at the rear is for the
optional cut sheet feeder.

After removing a few screws the remainder of the top covers can be removed
which exposes the logic board of the printer.

The logic board contains an expansion port, in this case the LocalTalk Option
card has been installed.

The LocalTalk Option card converts the serial interface of the printer into a
LocalTalk interface so it can be connected directly to a LocalTalk network.
